KINGSTON, Jamaica — A St Catherine businessman who reportedly fled the country following a 2024 shooting incident has been charged after being deported to Jamaica more than two years later. Charged is 38-year-old Chavis Peart, otherwise called “Geezy” or “Baller” of Jumbling Place, Portmore, St Catherine. He faces charges of three counts of wounding with intent, possession of a prohibited weapon,
